A vintage distressed box, possibly originally a jewellery box, finished with beeswax, with upcycled parts including curtain rod finials, converted to a steampunk dimmable lamp with illuminated USB charging port powered by a stabilized power supply.
The converted artwork now has a touch dimmer (the base of the front key) and an Edison-style E27 bulb to brighten the corners of your bothy. The box has ornate bronze feet and fittings. It is 16cm high X 27cm wide X 21cm deep.
The burgundy vintage fabric flexible twisted double insulated 3 core 1.7 metre cable includes an in-line black traditional Torpedo 6 amp rocker switch, which disconnects both the Live and Neutral, and complies with BS EN 6108-2-1. The cable is terminated with a black 13-amp plug, which complies with BS 1363, and is fitted with a 1 amp fuse. An additional spare fuse is included. The red vintage fabric flexible twisted double insulated 2 core 1.7 metre cable The other end is terminated with a black IP68 compression TRS M12 cable stuffing gland. Really, we didn’t just make that up.
Please note that this artwork is powered by mains electricity and has fragile glass and other parts. It is not a toy nor is it durable to misuse. Ensure that the kids of the family know that they must not play with this, else they will be put on Santa’s naughty list or will be sold for medical experimentation.
The key is part of the touch-dimmer.
