An individual hand-built switchable lamp built with upcycled old wooden wine bottle container, new illuminated switch with E27 lamp. The box was presented by the Brazilian Air Force, whose logo is on the front.
There is a red illuminated switch on the right side to control power to the whole unit. A black switch on the same side operates a fireworks-style E27 bulb, which is included. This casts a beautiful dappled effect on nearby walls.
There is also a blue illuminated USB charger port on the left side.
An LED at the back emits a warm amber glow.
Lamp dimensions : 29cm high by 39cm wide by 17cm deep.
All electrics and electronics are new. The brown fabric flexible twisted double insulated 2-core 1.8 metre cable is terminated with a black 13-amp plug, which complies with BS 1363. The other end is terminated with a black IP68 compression TRS cable stuffing gland.
The appliance is Class II as defined in IEC 61140 and has been tested.
