This is switched by an inline switch on the cable

The lamp appliance is Class I as defined in IEC 61140 and has been tested. The black double insulated 3 core 1.85-metre fabric cable is terminated with a black 13-amp plug, which complies with BS 1363, and is fitted with a 3 amp fuse.
