Operating Instructions
The unit is battery-backed, so cannot be switched on/off by the power cord.
There are two buttons at the lower centre rear; Power (I) and Mode M.
Hold the power button (I) down for a few seconds to power the unit off or on.
Press the Mode (M) button to step through the different audio sources, which include micro-SD card, radio, Bluetooth and Aux-in. When Bluetooth is selected, a unique signal is heard.
The I<< and >>I controls are operated by touch. Holding onto I<< lowers the volume, and holding on to >>I increases the volume.
In micro-SD card and Bluetooth modes, touching I<< steps back to either the beginning of the current track, or the previous track. Touching >>I steps to the next track.
In radio mode, touching I<< steps back to the previous FM radio station. Touching >>I steps to the next FM radio station. To rescan for FM channels, ensure that you are in radio mode, then just touch the power (I) button. Now allow the unit to search for radio stations.
The blue light under the chin on the left flashes when the unit is on. The red light under the chin on the right glows when external power is applied.
Apologies for the inconvenient location of the Power and Mode switches. It is an acquired skill to operate them from the front. Persevere!
