Elevated Plane
An individual hand-built steampunk switchable lamp built with upcycled vintage hand made carpenter's plane and vintage weathered cast iron stand. A rust coloured lamp cage houses a smoked glass bulb with a spiral filament. At one end in an old garden tap.
All electrics are new. The traditional chocolate-coloured fabric flexible twisted double insulated 2-core 1.4 metre cable is terminated with a black 13-amp plug, which complies with BS 1363. The other end is terminated with a black IP68 compression TRS cable stuffing gland.
The cable includes an in-line black traditional Torpedo rocker switch.
The wood has been finished in beeswax.
The product is about 53 cm long, 72 cm high and 18 cm deep.
