Gold Tripod
A repurposed lamp shade converted to mains operation. The artwork now has a golden 3-core mains cable and torpedo switch.
The unit currently has an electronic candle-effect E27 light bulb, with three modes. This bulb can be replaced with most other types of light bulb with E27 fitting, such as a colour-changing light bulb.
All electrics and electronics are new. The gold double insulated 3 core 1.65 metre cable is terminated with a black 13-amp plug, which complies with BS 1363, and is fitted with a 3 amp fuse. The cable includes an in-line black traditional Torpedo rocker switch.
The appliance is Class I as defined in IEC 61140 and has been tested.
