Table of Oak
This coffee table is built from two beautiful weathered slabs of reclaimed oak, and rests on two new black steel A-pedstals. The wood is believed to be part of an old railway wagon, from an era where they still had railways and could use desirable oak in their construction.
The two pieces have slightly different charactersistics. One is the Ying to the other's Yang. The surface is of a significantly raised grain that you can feel and touch. The wood has been treated, and finished with Superior Danish Oil over a period of three months. Note that the wood is dense, so the table is heavy.
The table weighs 15.3 kilos and has the dimensions Height 46cm Width 36cm Length 70cm
