Heart of Oak
This is a diffused-light floor lamp with a natural silhouette and a heart-shaped natural hole.
It is based on a large slice of waney brown oak. The wood has been treated, and finished with Superior Danish Oil, then varnished with a silk sheen. Note that the wood is dense, so the lamp is heavy.
The warm light is radiated by a serpentine string of LED's. The colour and sequence can be controlled with the included remote.
The lamp appliance is Class II as defined in IEC 61140 and has been tested. The brown double insulated 2-core 2-metre cable is terminated with a black 13-amp plug, which complies with BS 1363.
It has two rubber feet at the front and a black stabilising arm at the back.
