Hot Robot
This unusual steampunk low-voltage table lamp is built from new, repurposed and recycled components, including a weathered upcycled coffee caddy, walkie talkie, car indicator, basin tap (hot), working barometer, laptop power supply, and an illuminated USB charger
Blue light glows below, above the robot's left ear and also from the illuminated USB charger. Multicoloured light glows from its mouth.
The 12V LED array bulb in the E27 socket is switched from the right hand side. A further spare 12V E27 bulb is included.
The unit is 35cm high by 30cm wide by 13cm deep, and is mounted on decorative brass feet.
The artwork is powered by a low voltage supply. The total lead length is a generous 2.7 metres long.
