Long Short Sally
This is a small, but tall three-legged coffee table, built from a beautiful weathered slab of reclaimed oak. It is believed to be part of an old railway wagon, from an era where they still had railways and could use desirable oak in their construction.
The surface is of a significantly raised grain that you can feel and touch. The wood has been treated, and finished with Superior Danish Oil over a period of three months. Note that the wood is dense, so the table is heavy.
The new legs, built from industrial conduit and base plates, bear the legend "1914"
The table weighs 6.4 kilos and has the dimensions Height 53cm Width 23cm Length 69cm
