Reflection Refraction
I had a Physics teacher who used the word "Reflaction" for both the words above. No wonder I didn't become a physicist!
This lamp is built from a recycled lamp housing. It has angled glass that is both transparent and reflective. A digital LED corn bulb flickers, pulsates and dances to produce a candle-like effect, with its image multiplied by the sloped glass surfaces.
A 2.5mm socket at the rear connects the unit to the 12V power supply.
There are two electronic modules; one in the plug-in power supply and the other in the G4 candle-effect bulb.
The unit is 30cm high by 20cm wide.
The artwork is powered by a low voltage supply wall plug. The lead is 90cm long, which can be extended to 1.4 meters with a low voltage extension lead which is included.
