Time for Coffee
An individual hand-built steampunk switchable lamp, with blue illuminated dual USB charging port, built with upcycled wooden Coffee caddy, vintage brass clock mechanism (inactive) and brass radiator key. Internally there are two different electronic modules : 25W 12V stabilised power supply and step-down electronics for USB charger.
The lamp is switched by a recessed switch over the USB port. A T45 spiral filament Edison-style E27 bulb is included, to brighten the corners of your bothy.
The rear and base vents emanate a flickering amber glow.
All electrics and electronics are new. The coffee brown fabric flexible twisted double insulated 3 core 1.3 metre cable is terminated with a black13-amp plug, which complies with BS 1363. The cable includes an in-line black traditional Torpedo 6 amp rocker switch, which disconnects both the Live and Neutral, and complies with BS EN 6108-2-1. The lamp switch is recessed on the right-hand side. An additional spare fuse is included. The other end is terminated with a black IP68 compression TRS cable stuffing gland. Really, we didn’t just make that up.
The product is about 35cm high by 16 cm wide by 16 cm deep.
Please note that the vintage brass clock mechanism has small sharp parts which are unsuitable to be exposed to small children.
