Volts on Tour
A table lamp built from a wooden suitcase and a Pulsar stage spotlight, previously used by a band that toured Europe.
The spotlight has been rebuilt and is no longer a mains 500-watt hot lamp, but now is low-volatage, low-wattage and low-heat, with a bright 7-watt standard MR16 12-volt LED bulb. The lamp swivels in both the horizontal and vertical axes. It has a heavy glass fressnel lens that can adjust the spot size.
The unit comest with a 2.5-metre cable and plug-in 12-volt power supply.
It has for neoprene feet to prevent surface scratching.
The case has leather straps and bronze fittings. This item has a vintage bakelite voltmeter/ohmmeter as part of the ornamentation.
